Other ways to reach MyGearCheck
The form above is the only channel at the moment. Everything sent through it reaches a person rather than a ticket queue.
MyGearCheck is a project of FusionStudios, and who builds it is on the about page.
What is worth writing about
- A factual error. Name the page and the claim. These get priority over everything else here.
- A test that behaves oddly on your hardware. The browser, the operating system and the device make all the difference, so include them. The copy summary button on each test collects exactly that.
- Embedding one of these tools. It is free and there is nothing to sign; the snippets are here. Get in touch if you need something the embed does not do yet, such as a theme that matches your site.
- Using the open data. Also free, under CC BY 4.0, and documented here. If you need a field that is not in there, ask.
